The St. Edward's Music Ministry strives to combine FAITH, FELLOWSHIP, and MUSIC to help all who gather feel the presence of the Holy Spirit
Conmigos Choir- The Conmigos Choir ministers at the 11:30am Mass two times a month. Dates vary.
African Choir-
The African Choir ministers at the 11:30 am Mass the last weekend of the month.
The Liturgical Choir -
The Liturgical Choir ministers various Masses. Practice is held every Wednesday 7pm-8:30pm in the Church
Cantors
Cantors are visible leaders in our liturgies who possess the tools to lead our congregation in prayer and worship. They are responsible for inviting the assembly to worship, proclaiming the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation, and leading the assembly in song.
Accompanists
Accomplished organists/pianists who can accompany cantors and choirs are always needed. Accompanists have good sight-reading skills and knowledge of varying styles of music including traditional, contemporary, and gospel.
