I often get asked the question from kids at St. Pius X school, why did they crucify Jesus? He seems like such a nice loving guy? Why would people want to put a person like Jesus to death?             

Next weekend, Fr. Charles Smiech, a Franciscan and friend of Fr. Kevin, will preach at all the Masses in preparation for our Parish Retreat and Mission from April 8-10. It will be a chance to be enlightened by the transforming power of God's Word.              

Maryland’s Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today Program, or BOOST, provides scholarship assistance to lower-income parents to enable them to choose Catholic schools as an educational option for their children.

The annual Jubilarian Celebration of Marriage Mass honors couples married 25,30,35,40,50 and 51+ years. It will be held Sunday, June 16, 2019, at 2:00pm at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
