The City of Bowie will be hosting two additional emergency food distribution events the first two Saturdays in November, the 6thand the 13th, from 10 am until 2 pm at the Kenhill Center, 2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD. The program is for Bowie residents, with target groups being seniors, veterans, disabled residents, and households that have lost income during the pandemic. Residents will be asked to provide proof of Bowie residency (ID or a piece of mail with a Bowie address) and complete a short form. The events will be drive-thru; volunteers will load food into resident vehicles. The food will be non-perishable groceries that can be used to make a variety of meals.

The pantry provides emergency food (residents of PG County) and Financial Assistance (residents of the City of Bowie ONLY) who are experiencing need--without regard to race, creed, or gender. If the Pantry is unable to meet the needs it will make referrals to others who may be able to provide the needed assistance.
